Dive without Tanks
What is Extreme Snorkel?
Extreme Snorkel was created for those who enjoy the
simplicity of snorkeling with the freedom of supplied surface
air. This experience allows people to see the underwater world
up close without diving with heavy tanks or cumbersome scuba
equipment. Extreme Snorkel consists of a brief 25 minute
lesson and soon you’re swimming underwater seeing the
abundant aquatic life in Aruba’s crystal clear waters.
How does it work?
Extreme Snorkelers breathe underwater by means of a 25 foot
air line which is connected to a floating unit. The unit is selfcontained
and supplies air to the snorkeler below. The airline
allows you to tour underwater near the bottom, at mid-water
or on the surface depending on your level of comfort. Again,
there is no heavy diving gear so your are unencumbered by
equipment. Every tour is guided by a diving professional. Your
guide will familiarize you with the equipment you will be using
and during a brief 25 minute lesson describe what you can
expect in the water. Your Extreme Snorkel experience
consists of a 25 minute underwater tour and may be done
aboard any Red Sail Sports Snorkel Sail.
Cost: $40.00
If booked in advance, $45 if purchased on board.
Cost of Sailing excursion is extra.
Extreme Snorkeling is offered Monday-Friday and
